The finished version of the two dragon's playing ball.
Luckily I had the picture on my flash drive so I can upload it while I'm away on vacation visiting the folks.
The goal of the game is to get the ball through the goal held by a member of your own team. The dragon that holds the goal aloft is allowed to move up and down in the air but not forwards or backwards. Mostly the 'goalie' tries to hold it as still as possible so his team members have a better chance of throwing it threw.
Teams are told apart from each other by the cloth wrapped around the tails. All body parts are allowed to hit the ball, but you can't hit other players with claws/horns/anything pointy or you get deducted points.
Players are also scored for flashy moves, while hitting or stealing the ball away from the other team.
And the ball is magic, so it glows and floats at the right altitude.
Belated, but this is a great picture! I adore your pen and ink work as always, and the idea is clever. *G* Nice foreshortening on the pale dragon's forearms, as well!
Thanks Scy. This is the first time I've played with foreshortening without using an reference (although I did contort my hand around to look at it straight on). I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I love the idea! Dragons never get to play in fantasy, and that's not fair, they should get to play too.

"People die if they're killed."
Redundancy! Because someone has to state the obvious.
Time is the best teacher, too bad it also kills all of its students.
